FLUID DUALITY

location | Crown Heights, Brooklyn

date | Spring 2023

client | Polly’s Cafe

Painted on the fence of a queer-owned café in Brooklyn, Fluid Duality explores the intertwined energies of masculinity and femininity through vibrant shades of blue, pink, and yellow. Inspired by fluidity in gender and identity, this mural became a visual reflection of harmony and contrast. Throughout the process, I gained invaluable lessons in client communication, material sourcing, and the challenges of creating work built for longevity — making this project as much about collaboration and problem-solving as it was about creative expression.
